Need to change your bus ticket? It does happen, and we're here to help you with it. Please first check your e-mail booking confirmation to see whether you are traveling with Go2To Bus or a bus partner.
Go2To Bus
If you with Go2To Bus you can only change the travel date and departure time (but not the departure and arrival city) of the bus journey. For other changes, such as a traveler's name or departure/arrival city, you must cancel the entire bus booking and then make the booking again using the Go2To Bus voucher issued.
How to cancel or rebook your Go2To bus ticket:
If the new journey is cheaper, you will receive a Go2To bus voucher (valid for 1 year) for the difference in price minus the fee. If the new trip is more expensive, you pay the difference plus the fee.
Please note: If you booked a bus trip but weren't logged into your Go2To account, give us a few details and follow the on-screen instructions to find and manage your booking.
Bus partner
If your booking was not made with Go2To Bus but with a bus partner, please check the cancellation and rebooking conditions yourself. If your bus ticket is cancellable, you can most likely cancel your trip via your email booking confirmation and then rebook.
If you do not want to start your trip after all, please first check your e-mail booking confirmation to see which bus company you are traveling with.
Go2To Bus
If you travel with a Go2To bus, you can rebook or cancel your trip free of charge up to 8 days before departure. After that, a cancellation or rebooking fee will be charged.
How to cancel or rebook your Go2To bus ticket:
After you have canceled your booking, you will receive an email with a Go2To Bus voucher (valid for 1 year) for the original ticket price minus the fee. If the original booking was made with a Go2To Bus voucher, you will not receive a new voucher code - it will be reactivated (with the exception of promotional or gift vouchers).
Bus partner
If your booking was not made with Go2To Bus but with a bus partner, please check the cancellation and rebooking conditions yourself. If your bus ticket is cancellable, you can most likely cancel your journey via your email booking confirmation.
From city to city, our buses will take you anywhere at low prices. You can find all the addresses of our bus stops here.
If you do not receive a confirmation email within 10 minutes after booking, please check all relevant email folders: spam, junk mail, advertising, etc.
Have you actually not received the confirmation email?
Please be assured that we have not collected any payment for your ride request. Only a payment authorization request will appear in your bank account, die bald verschwinden wird!
An authorization request is a request from us to your bank to see if you have enough money in your account to book the ride. Your bank will then block the corresponding sum so that we can debit it as soon as the driver accepts your request.
As a reminder: We don't take any payment if the driver doesn't accept your ride request or if you cancel the request before it's accepted.
When you book your ride, you can see whether the selected ride works with cash payment or online payment. Riders choose this when posting their ride.
For cash trips, make sure you have the correct amount with you on the trip.
You don't have to worry about this for rides with online payment, but note the following when paying for these rides:
Your account will be charged as soon as your booking has been accepted by the driver.
Depending on what the driver prefers, this is either immediately or after the driver has reviewed your request and decided if he would like to travel with you.
After the ride is complete, we send your money to the driver.
Simply enter the dates of your planned trip with us to search for a suitable trip.
- Open Go2To and enter your departure city, destination and desired date. You are welcome to provide streets or even exact addresses.
– Then select the ride that is best for you from the list. There's a good chance you'll find a ride that starts near you and takes you right to your destination.
- Message drivers if you have any questions about the ride before booking
- Book your selected ride online to secure your spot. Please book all trips online via our platform, regardless of whether the trip works with online or cash payment.
As soon as you have booked your ride, you will receive the phone number of the driver via email to the email address saved in your Go2To profile.
In this case you will get your money back if you had already paid for your trip online.
If the driver does not cancel online, it is important that you let us know that you did not travel as planned (within 24 hours of the departure time).
That's how it's done:
– Before the scheduled departure time, you can go to Bookings cancel; after that under timeline.
– Select the relevant trip and click on Show ride.
- Click on Cancel and select the reason from the drop-down menu (no one knows the reason but us).
